What customers say?

“ I went on Saturday with my friend. We ordered a mix of starters and a prawn main. The food was very good and perfectly flavoured. I had a lychee mocktail which was a little sweet for my liking (I am trying to cut down on the sugar) I mentioned this to the staff and they adjusted it so it was less sweet. It was also my birthday and the manager very kindly brought over some complimentary dessert. It has not hit the menu yet but I would recommend it for sure! I believe it was coconut and mango roll..? It was moreish! The only downside was a slight smell of old socks now and then but this could have been the customer near us… Overall I would definitely return. ”

“ It was pretty quiet on Sunday evening, even though the restaurant across the road was full packed. We decided to give it a try and ordered Tom Kha Goong, Khao Pad, and Phad Nam Prig Pao.The soup was on another level really rich and flavourful, with a good-sized king prawn. Was almost full just from that. The Phad Nam Prig Pao was also quite nice.Sakin looked after us and was great! very friendly and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. Will definitely be back, especially for the the soup ”

“ I recently visited this restaurant and tried several dishes — Kiew Wahn, Pad Thai, spicy chicken wings, and Kanom Jeep dumplings — and every one of them was fantastic. The flavors were bold and authentic, especially the Kiew Wahn, which had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The Pad Thai was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, and the dumplings were tender with a flavorful filling. Overall, I’d rate the food an 8/10 — definitely a place I’d come back to just for the dishes alone. That said, the service could use some improvement. Staff seemed a bit unorganized and slow to check in, which slightly took away from the overall experience. Still, the quality of the food makes it worth visiting — just hope they tighten up the service to match the excellent kitchen. ”

“ I was just walking past and noticed Black Lotus Thai – this was my very first time trying Thai cuisine. I ordered only one starter (Black Lotus Hors D’oeuvre) as I was craving a snack, and I absolutely loved it! The mix of flavours was amazing and everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. Even though I’m new to Thai food, this starter really impressed me and now I’m excited to try more, especially Pad Thai since it’s listed as their #1 most liked dish. Looking forward to coming back soon to explore more of their menu. ”

“ Such a lovely place. Their food is so delicious. One of a kind I must say. Pretty authentic taste and super nice guest service. Music wasn't great but I will suggest if you can, put instrumental music or some chilled English playlist please. I understand your guests or may be owners are from South Asian countries and they like Hindi songs, but Hindi, English mixed music wasn't a great idea for a Thai restaurants playlist. Sorry if I sound wrong or biased! It was just a personal opinion. Overall, I like their ambience and decorum. I recommend this place. Must worth visiting again. Thanks for serving us. ”

“ The staff were very friendly and helpful with my intolerances. The food itself was so good and we were shocked with the portion size! We were so full! Check out my tiktok whatsvidhyaeating for the full reel ”

“ Had dinner at Black Lotus – honestly 5 stars across the board. The food was full of flavour – we had the mixed platter, spicy prawn rice, red chicken curry, and egg fried rice, and every dish hit the mark. Staff were lovely, really attentive without being over the top. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. Everything is halal and there is a prayer room at the back which was a really thoughtful touch. Will definitely be back again, insha’Allah – highly recommended! ”
